How To Apply
Use our on-line application, come in to Human Resources to complete an application or attend one of our job fairs to have an on-site interview.
One of the best times to apply is at one of our Job Fairs held throughout the fall. Representatives from our work areas will be available to talk with you. These Job Fairs are convenient for the applicant who is not sure which department will suit them best or for applicants coming from a long distance.
Schedules and Wages
Due to the nature of our business, Killington is open every day. You must be prepared to work a schedule which will include Saturdays, Sundays and peak days. Your starting pay will depend upon the position and the amount of previous experience you have. Overtime may be required and all hourly paid staff will receive time and a half for hours worked over 40 hours in one pay week.
Housing
Killington does not provide employee housing. The Human Resource office maintains a listing of available housing that has been shared with us. The listings are available for review in our office.
Other good sources for local housing information are the local newspapers - "The Rutland Herald" in Rutland www.rutlandherald.com and "The Mountain Times" in Killington www.mountaintimes.info. You may also try www.craigslist.com (search Rutland, VT). Local real estate agencies may also have information about seasonal rentals as well.
Duration of Seasonal Employment
Length of employment will depend upon the business levels throughout the season. Generally speaking, Killington’s ski season begins mid-November and ends in mid-April, with most seasonal jobs ending late March.
