Cancellation credits

In many cases, opting for a cancellation credit is the best way to cancel your product without incurring fees. Cancellation credits are issued as a dollar value, similar to a gift card, and can be used towards the purchase of eligible products until the value has been completely used or the credit expires.

Credits are valid for one year + two weeks from the date of issuance. For example, a credit issued on December 24, 2021 is valid for use through January 7, 2023. Unused credits can not be extended.
Eligible products include season passes, winter lift, Killington mountain bike and Killington adventure center tickets, snow sports school and Killington mountain bike lessons, Killington golf and ski/snowboard or mountain bike lessons.
Credits can not be used towards special event tickets, lodging, retail purchases or for food and beverage purchases. This is not an all-inclusive list.
Cancellation credits are valid at both Killington and Pico, regardless of the resort it was issued from.

Redeem Cancellation Credit Voucher

Log in to your online account here.
Make a note of the voucher ID (13-character code) as this is the number you will enter during the checkout process. Click the View/Print button to check the current balance.
Add products to your cart, unless you've already done this.
Once all products have been added to the cart, select "check out" and follow through with all required steps.
On the payment screen, where you enter your credit card information, you will enter your voucher number. If on a mobile device, you will need to click “ORDER SUMMARY” to be able to enter your voucher number.
The total due will be reduced by however much was on the voucher. If the voucher amount is greater than the total amount due, the remainder of the balance will stay on the voucher code.
Complete the checkout process. You will need to provide credit card information if your credit does not cover the full amount due.

Cancellation Policies

TICKETS & RENTALS PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM KILLINGTON RESORT/PICO MOUNTAIN 

Prior to 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the lift ticket or rental start date, tickets or rentals may be cancelled for a 90% refund or 100% cancellation credit. For example, a ticket or rental starting on a Saturday is eligible for a 90% refund or 100% lift ticket/rental credit through 4:00 p.m. the preceding Friday. 

After that time period, tickets or rentals may be cancelled up until 10:00 a.m. daily (even if they have been used to test conditions) for a 100% lift ticket/rental credit equal to the value of the ticket for that day or remaining future days on a multi-day ticket. No refunds or credits are available after 10:00 a.m. for same day or past day tickets.

There are no cancellations available or credits issued for direct-to-lift tickets that are not date specific (i.e., P-Tickets) which have not yet been used or complimentary tickets which have a $0 value.

To determine a credit amount on a multi-day ticket or rental we divide the number of days being cancelled by the total number of days the ticket or rental is valid and multiply that by the price paid for the ticket. For example, if cancelling one day of a three-day ticket, 1 divided by 3 equals .33 and therefore 33% of the original ticket price will be the amount of the cancellation credit. 
This policy applies to tickets purchased directly from Killington Resort either on-site, online at killington.com or through our call center. It does not apply to products purchased from a third party.
If canceling a season pass or Ikon Pass bring-a-friend ticket, the voucher is not re-instated for another use in the future. The use of that bring a friend voucher is forfeited.

TICKETS & RENTALS PURCHASED FROM A THIRD PARTY

Tickets may be cancelled up until 10:00 a.m. daily for a $39 lift ticket/rental credit valid towards a future lift ticket purchase directly from Killington Resort/Pico Mountain.

Lift ticket/rental credits are valid towards a future lift ticket or rental purchase and expire one year + two weeks from the date of cancellation. For example, a credit issued on December 24, 2022 is valid through January 7, 2024.
There are no cancellations available or credits issued for third party direct-to-lift tickets that are not date specific (i.e., Ski Shop or Ski Council tickets) which have not yet been used.

Group & Private Lessons

Prior to 4:00 p.m. two days prior to the lesson date, lessons may be cancelled for a 90% refund or 100% cancellation credit. For example, a lesson for a Saturday is eligible for a 90% refund or 100% cancellation credit through 4:00 p.m. the preceding Wednesday.

Prior to 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the lesson date, lessons may be cancelled for a 100% cancellation credit. No refunds. For example, a lesson for a Saturday is eligible for a 100% cancellation credit through 4:00 p.m. the preceding Friday. A refund is not available.

After 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the lesson, there are no cancellations or changes permitted since we’ve held that spot from our inventory and have assigned an instructor to teach the lesson. We know that weather and snow conditions vary, but if the resort is open for skiing/riding we will be providing lessons as scheduled and there are no refunds, vouchers, or credits issued due to these events. Thank you for your understanding.

To determine a credit amount on a multi-day lesson, we cancel the multi-day product and re-sell lessons for the dates still being used. The remaining balance will be the amount of the cancellation ticket credit. For example, if you are cancelling the second day of a 3-day lesson, we will cancel the 3-day lesson and sell two 1-day lessons; your credit amount will be the remaining balance. If you are cancelling the last day of a 3-day lesson, we will cancel the 3-day lesson and sell one 2-day lesson; you credit amount will be the remaining balance.

Seasonal Lesson Programs

Multi-session seasonal lesson programs may be canceled for a 90% refund or 100% cancellation credit up until 30 days before the first session/date of the program. There are no cancellations within 30 days. Requests for partial cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of Killington/Pico if a participant has a season-ending injury, illness, or pregnancy.
