Pico Mountain sits right on Route 4 — just 9 miles from Rutland and easy to reach from Boston, New York, or Burlington. There's no access road to navigate: park at the base and you're steps from the lifts.

By air

CapeAir* provides regional air service to Rutland Regional Airport (RUT), just 25 minutes from the resort, and Lebanon Municipal Airport (LEB), approximately 1 hour from the resort.

Rutland Airport has service from Boston, MA three times daily. When planning to fly via Rutland Airport, ensure you have secured shuttle service or a rental car ahead of time, as these services are not available on-site without advance reservations.

Lebanon Airport has service from New York, NY two times daily from White Plains, NY, with ground service available between White Plains and Penn Railway Station. Lebanon also has four daily flights from Boston, MA

By train

Amtrak runs daily from New York Penn Station through Albany to Rutland, VT. From Rutland, The Bus gets you to the mountain hourly. Book at amtrak.com.

By bus

NYC: Ovrride runs round-trip service from Brooklyn and Manhattan on select Saturdays, with lift ticket and transport packages available. Book at ovrride.com.

Burlington or Albany: Vermont Translines, through the Vermont Agency of Transportation, offers daily scheduled service to Rutland. Connect to The Bus for hourly service to the resort. Book at vtranslines.com.

Rutland: The Bus runs hourly to Pico Mountain from Rutland, VT. Book at thebus.com.

Boston, MA and Rhode Island: Boston Ski & Sports Club provides weekly round-trip bus service with pick up locations throughout the Greater Boston region and Rhode Island. Massachusetts locations include Downtown, Harvard Square, Newton and Woburn and Rhode Island pickups are in Warwick. BSSC provides both ticket and rental packages as well as transportation only fees.     Charge Up While You Ski

    EV Charging

    Pico Mountain offers 9 stations of solar-powered EV charging at the base area. Chargers are slab-mounted and powered by solar trackers, sited in lower-demand areas of the parking lot to allow for longer sessions without competing for prime spaces. Additional EV charging is available at Killington Resort base lodges including Snowshed (18 stations), K-1 (12), and Skyeship (12), all a short drive or shuttle ride away.

    Paid EV Charging Stations

    All EV charging stations are paid and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Use the Tesla app to start a session: download, scan the QR code on the charger, and go. J1772 adapters are available on select stations.

    Pico Fitness Center is open year-round. Pico Mountain Ski Resort operates only during the winter season, is closed Tuesday & Wednesdays except for peak period dates.

    Season passes are available for purchase online at picomountain.com/seasonpass. Last day save on the price is September 24, 2026, and the K.A. All Seasons Pass will no longer be available for purchase after that date.

    Free parking is available at the Pico Mountain Base Lodge. 9 stations of paid solar-powered EV charging is available at the base area.

    Dogs are welcome in outdoor areas and on select pet-friendly trails during the non-ski season. Service animals are welcome year-round. Please review our Pet Policy for full details. Please note that animals are not permitted on chairlifts at any time.
