August Update: Lift ticket options, equipment rental packages, Brewfest, and construction

Greetings from Pico Mountain, 

We're entering the home stretch of summer! Kiddos are heading back to school, Labor Day is right around the corner, and we'll be back on skis and snowboards before we know it. If you're already thinking about those first powdery turns (just like we are), we've got great news: Opening Day is scheduled for Friday, December 11! We have a little over 100 days to go before our first laps on the Golden Express, and we can't wait to welcome you all back. Until then, we'll update our Mountain Report and events calendar with any info you need ahead of the big day.

Lift Ticket Options & Rentals Are on Sale!

If you haven't already got yourself a season pass, we have plenty of other options to get on the mountain this winter. P-Ticket Vouchers and P-Days Passes are now on sale, our cheapest & most flexible options for lift access. In case you need a refresher, P-Ticket Vouchers are one-day, transferable lift ticket vouchers, perfect for gifting or just holding onto until the right day(s) arrive. P-Days Passes offer two, three, or four days of lift access that are assigned to one person at checkout and allow you to proceed right to the lift after purchase. Here's the best part: Both offer no blackout dates and big savings on lift access all winter long. Lift tickets are also on sale for winter 26/27, as well as our ski & snowboard rental packages. As always, no matter what you're purchasing, it's best to plan ahead to get the best deal!

Killington Brewfest Ticket Deadline

We're just under a month away from the 30th annual Killington Brewfest, our yearly fall celebration that’s taking place in our scenic base area. This year's event promises the same great tasting experience, with over 100 beers, ciders, seltzers, and non-alcoholic options to choose from, plus a whole lot more. Your ticket also gets you access to a vendor village with plenty of local flavor, high-energy live music from Terrafunk, and activities for the whole family to enjoy, all in one afternoon. VIP tickets are still on sale, but our Early Bird GA ticket rate is only available through Monday, August 31. Lock in our best rate while you still can!

Construction Update

Also taking place in our base area is quite a bit of construction work, all aimed at continuing to improve our snowmaking efficiency. After finishing up a valve station replacement at the bottom of Lower Pike, our crews are in the final stages of relocating and replacing snowmaking pipe between Lower Pike and B Slope. Once that's completed, we'll be moving up to the intersection of Easy Street and K.A. to replace and upgrade another crucial mid-mountain valve station. Even in our "quiet" season, our Mountain Ops teams are working hard to make this another fantastic winter. Stay tuned, as we still have more construction updates to share in the next couple of months!

Pico Ski Club Annual Swap & Sale

Looking to buy or sell some winter gear ahead of this upcoming season? The Pico Ski Club Annual Swap & Sale returns on October 2-4, offering great deals on ski and snowboard gear fit for all ages. Pico Ski Club will accept consignments of clean, gently used ski and snowboard gear and winter clothing, with drop-off dates starting on September 19. Plus, local retail shops will be selling new equipment at unbeatable prices. Proceeds will benefit Pico Ski Club and its racing programs that train 150+ participants aged 6 and up.
