Killington Resort and Pico Mountain welcomes members of the news media and Bloggers to research the Killington and Pico experience for their publications or broadcasts. Killington/Pico will issue complimentary lift tickets to members of the media and Bloggers who write Killington/Pico feature stories, use Killington and Pico news releases or produce Killington/Pico-featured radio and TV broadcasts.
Arrangements must be made 48 hours in advance by email to communications@killington.com. Only single-day lift tickets will be issued unless other arrangements have been made. Arrangements for a complimentary pass must be made in advance, no exceptions.
Complimentary Media Policy:
- Lift passes will be issued to:
- Writers and Bloggers, including freelance, on assignment
- Radio and television announcers/editors directly on assignment or responsible for airing of published Killington/Pico news releases
- Engineers and camera operators on assignment
- Photographers and filmmakers on an editorial assignment*
- Spouses are included; children are not, except where the assignment involves children's programs
- Killington/Pico does not issue lift tickets to other media personnel such as advertising and sales representatives.3.
- Killington does not own lodging and is unable to provide complimentary stays for members of the media.
Please submit your request for lift tickets in writing to communications@killington.com at least 48 hours prior to your visit.
*Photographers and filmmakers who are coordinating professional photo and video shoots for commercial purposes, or for editorial purposes using professional athletes or models, must provide Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC. with a Certificate of Insurance. All requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance and must follow our insurance guidelines. Please contact us at communications@killington.com for information.
