Get ready for a fun-filled Halloween afternoon in Killington! Killington Parks & Recreation is bringing back Trunk-or-Treat for an afternoon of costumes, candy, and Halloween fun for the whole family.

Come dressed in your favorite costume and enjoy trick-or-treating, fun decorations, and costume awards for our little Halloween stars! Children of all ages are welcome. Trunk-or-treat is free and open to Families from Killington and neighboring communities.

Costumes are encouraged! Awards will be given to the best costume and the scariest costume throughout the event, so dress to impress!

Following the event, head over to the Killington Welcome Center to check out the Salmeri Haunted House.

Trunk-or-Treat will be hosted from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17 at the Sherburne Memorial Library with the costume parade starting at 2:15 p.m.

Haunt & Harvest Weekend 

The Killington/Pico Area Association (KPAA), in collaboration with Killington Parks & Recreation, and Base Camp Outfitters, is preparing for a frightfully fun weekend in Killington with the first Haunt & Harvest weekend from Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18.

The weekend brings together several community Halloween traditions, including the Salmeri Haunted House, the sixth annual Killington Parks & Recreation Trunk or Treat at the Sherburne Memorial Library, and the Killington Mountain Bike Club's Haunted Hillside at Base Camp Outfitters.

Pico Fitness Center is open year-round. Pico Mountain Ski Resort operates only during the winter season, is closed Tuesday & Wednesdays except for peak period dates.

Season passes are available for purchase online at picomountain.com/seasonpass. Last day save on the price is September 24, 2026, and the K.A. All Seasons Pass will no longer be available for purchase after that date.

Free parking is available at the Pico Mountain Base Lodge. 9 stations of paid solar-powered EV charging is available at the base area.

Dogs are welcome in outdoor areas and on select pet-friendly trails during the non-ski season. Service animals are welcome year-round. Please review our Pet Policy for full details. Please note that animals are not permitted on chairlifts at any time.
