Adult Learn to Ski/Ride Lesson, Ages 16+
Everything You Need to Get Started
Designed specifically for first-time skiers and snowboarders ages 16 and older, this lesson introduces the fundamentals you need to begin exploring the mountain.
Your instructor will help you get comfortable with your equipment, learn how to control your speed and direction, and develop the skills needed to make your first turns. Pico’s relaxed atmosphere and uncrowded learning terrain give you plenty of space to practice along the way.
All Lessons Must be Purchased Online
Available: Saturday- Sunday and daily during peak* periods
*2026/27 Peak Dates: December 25, 2026 – January 3, 2027; January 16–18, 2027; February 13–15, 2027
Ability: First-timers only
Meeting Location: Slopeside of the Pico base lodge area
Lesson Times: choose from either the 9:45 a.m. or 12:45 p.m. lesson. (lessons are 2 hours and do not include lunch)
