Everything They Need to Get Started
Learning to ski or snowboard should be exciting, not overwhelming. Pico’s experienced instructors help young skiers and riders get comfortable with their equipment while introducing the fundamentals they need to start exploring the mountain.
From controlling speed and direction to making their first turns, each lesson focuses on developing skills and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
All Lessons Must be Purchased Online
Available: Saturday- Sunday and daily during peak* periods
*2026/27 Peak Dates: December 25, 2026 – January 3, 2027; January 16–18, 2027; February 13–15, 2027
Ability: First-timers only
Meeting Location: Slopeside of the Pico base lodge area
Lesson Duration: Full Day 9:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (includes lunch)
